At Phoenix, our strength lies in the people behind the care. Each of our staff bring a unique blend of experience, skill, and compassion to help you recover, move with confidence, and achieve your health goals. We believe that great results come from building genuine connections, so here’s your chance to get to know the team who will be supporting you every step of the way.

Matthew Harvey

Principle Physiotherapist + Clinic Owner

Matthew is the founder of Phoenix Physiotherapy and a dedicated therapist with a strong commitment to helping people move well and live without pain. He graduated from Macquarie University in 2018 with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree, building on a unique academic background after completing a Bachelor of Science in Football (Hons) at Liverpool John Moores University in the United Kingdom. This degree, with its strong focus on the science of football performance, gave Matthew a distinctive perspective on injury management, rehabilitation, and athletic performance.

Growing up locally before spending a number of years abroad, Matthew developed both a global outlook and a deep appreciation for his community at home. Since opening Phoenix Physiotherapy, he has been dedicated to creating a clinic where patients feel supported, listened to, and guided through every step of their rehab. As a proud member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Matthew remains committed to evidence-based care and ongoing professional development.

Sharlina Singh

Physiotherapist

Sharlina is a dedicated new-graduate physiotherapist who joined our team after completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with distinction at Western Sydney University in 2024. During her studies, she gained valuable experience across a wide range of clinical settings, including hospital, community, and private practice environments. A highlight of her training was a placement in The Netherlands, where she worked with a strong musculoskeletal focus and developed a passion for helping people return to their favourite activities.

As a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Sharlina is committed to ongoing learning and evidence-based practice. She enjoys working closely with patients to understand their goals, whether that’s recovering from injury, improving mobility, or building long-term strength and confidence.

Outside the clinic, Sharlina is a keen traveller who loves exploring new places and cultures. She has a long-standing involvement in netball, both as a player and a coach, and she also enjoys winding down with a good book. Her friendly nature and enthusiasm make her a valuable part of the Phoenix Physiotherapy team.
